Cyber Anchor began with a personal experience. After becoming the victim of a cyber attack years ago, our founder felt the fear, confusion and disruption that so many people face today. About Us
Zachary Chiu
Founder
Spurred to make a difference in these uncertain times, Zachary has a passion to promote online safety, helping protect individuals, families and businesses from cyber threats whilst teaching the necessary skills to ensure digital footprints are not vulnerable to criminals. Knowing firsthand the pain and fear that cyberattacks can cause after his father’s business was hacked, this experience inspired him to get a degree in cybersecurity, and learn everything he can about safe online practices.
Years later, equipped with extensive cybersecurity studies, an eagerness to learn each new development and an inquisitive mind to develop practical solutions using his knowledge, his ambition is to help individuals, families and businesses understand the latest cyber threats and the steps to protect themselves: simplifying the complexity of cybersecurity so that everyone can understand them and ensuring online safety is made easy.
Outside of being an online safety educator, he is passionate about travelling (especially visiting family in Singapore), the arts and contributing to society through his volunteering roles.
